I finally caught both Red Cliff and Dark Knight! Wish I had more knowledge about Chinese history so that I could identify with the characters in Red Cliff. Leslie was like "that's Zhang Fei right" cos the whole world knows that he's the weird-looking guy. I didn't even know lah..It's a very good movie, go catch it if you haven't. Doesn't matter that the movie's in Chinese, the plot and cast (Tony Leung!) is more than enough to catch your attention for a full two and a half hours.
The Dark Knight was not bad as well..just the the front part was rather dry. Only when the action scenes kicked in was I really into the movie. Li-li was super funny..she even recorded down in her the questions that came to her mind while watching the movie!! Actually the questions she asked were good and well-justified lah, just that the rest of us didn't think too deeply into the show :) The movie is mind-boggling though, it plays alot with your thoughts.
In my impression I felt that Dark Knight lasted longer than Red Cliff, so I must have enjoyed the latter more. Hhm. Or probably it's more light hearted.
Photoshoot today back in NTU was quite funny. I heard that they only take the upper part of the body, so I just wore my blouse and blazer matched with denim shorts. Like really just shorts. Super weird combination, but oh wells, who cares. They made me travel 2hrs all the way back to school just for that!
We had a farewell for Yiling before she leaves for U.S. It's one of the rarest times that everyone's punctual and present for a cell dinner. We even had Stefanie's company. I so thankful that God made it possible. We ate at the Mint Factory, I thought the museum was a rather cool concept, but when we were looking at the toys and figurines displayed at the entrance, I don't think it's very worth the money. It's quite a cosy place though, we sure knew how to camwhore! :)
Sometimes, we just don't know how to treasure things until they're like gone or going to be gone. Personally, it's not that I take things for granted while they're still present, I like to convince myself that there's always a next time to feel the same happy way. While I look optimistically to the future, I tend to neglect the present. And so, I told myself today, I'll try to do nice things for people when I feel like doing it at that moment, rather than procrastinating all the time.
And one day, when I finally go to Heaven, I'll be a happy little girl spending my days smiling and rolling on the grass.
i left my footprints (:
